First project meeting– Heidelberg, Germany
(16th / 17th December)
The meeting took place in the LVG of Heidelberg. Every partner institution was represented by at least one person, best requirements for a successful project start. 
The main aims of the meeting were to define the whole purpose of a PLE with regard to the aboriculture sector and its function and structure. Further the “guide for the development and implementation of PLE in training centers and SME´s”, the final product, as well as the project organization was an important theme.
In detail a timetable with the most important milestones was presented by the LVG. The first work package constitute the assessment of demands which will be establish by interviews with the target groups and whose analysis. In this content an internal workshop of the consortium started by making an exact definition of the target groups and by adapting and optimizing the questionnaires, prepared from the LVG, for every target group.
After extensive discussions and representations the first day ended by visiting the Christmas Market of Heidelberg and having dinner.
The second day concerned with organization issues like partner agreements, monitoring, dissemination and exploitation as well as the financial rules and the different tasks of the project partner.
Closing the dos until next project meeting were elucidated. The date for the 2nd meeting will be in May.
